Dingell Announces Grant to Help Prevent & End Veteran Homelessness
Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-12) today announced that Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency in Wyandotte will receive a $637,122 grant from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to continue their work providing housing and other services to homeless and low-income veteran families. The grant is awarded through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program.

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the DTE Energy Foundation today announced the award of grants totaling $159,825 to 41 communities in Michigan for local tree-planting projects.
