State of Michigan Schedules Auctions for Tax-Foreclosed Properties

WASHINGTON, D.C. — (RealEstateRama) — More than 350 properties, in four Lower Michigan counties, two Northern Michigan and two Upper Michigan counties, will be auctioned off during State of Michigan Tax-Foreclosed, Real Property Auctions on August 23rd and 24th. Registration for interested bidders will begin at 9:00 a.m., each day, with auctions scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.

230 parcels, located in, Iosco, Keweenaw, Luce, and Mecosta Counties, will go to auction on Tuesday, August 23rd, at the Ramada Inn Grayling, located at 2650 Business Loop South I-75, in Grayling.

150 properties, located in Branch, Clinton, Livingston, and Shiawassee Counties, will go to auction on Wednesday, August 24th, at the Ramada Lansing Hotel & Conference Center, located at 7501 W. Saginaw Highway, in Lansing.

Properties being auctioned have been foreclosed due to delinquent property taxes. Parcels may be vacant residential or commercial lots, or may have occupied or abandoned structures on them. Potential bidders assume the responsibility to thoroughly research property with the municipality in which the property is located.
