Washington, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — Work on the Michigan Department of Transportation’s (MDOT) M-94 reconstruction project in Manistique is wrapping up Friday, bringing the summer’s detour to an end.

Final work will be completed Friday and the detour is expected to be removed by Friday afternoon.

MDOT reconstructed 1.3 miles of M-94 from Chippewa Avenue to US-2 in Manistique. The $4.5 million investment included roadway reconstruction, sanitary and storm sewer replacement, water main replacement, concrete curb and gutter installation, new sidewalks, and drainage improvements. The project began in May.
