TRAVERSE CITY – May 26, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The City of Traverse City Department of Public Services will be overseeing Storm water structure inspection work at various locations around the City. Locations that will require more extensive traffic control and partial lane closures include: Grandview Parkway, Division Street, Fourteenth Street, Veterans Drive, Cass Street, Lake Street, Railroad Avenue, Woodmere Avenue, Hannah Avenue, Garfield Avenue, East Eighth Street, Peninsula Drive, Carver Street and the Downtown area. The work is expected to begin on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, and will consist of storm water structure inspection and surveying. The work will be done by contractors and city crews working together to minimize the disruption to traffic flow.

Please use caution and patience in these areas to reduce congestion, delay and promote worker safety. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place in and around the work area.

This construction will generate dust, noise and cause inconvenience. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation. Please feel free to call Larry LaCross, Asset Management/GIS Analyst, (231) 922-4900 if you have any questions, comments or concerns about the work or the schedule.
