Manatron Announces a $1.8 Million Reassessment Contract with Marion County (Indianapolis), Indiana to Use Manatron’s GRM(R) CAMA Software for Valuation, Statistical Modeling and Analysis

KALAMAZOO, Mich., Oct. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Manatron, Inc. (Nasdaq: MANA) the nation’s leading provider of integrated, enterprise-level property tax solutions for state and local governments announced that it has received a $1.8 million contract to evaluate the current market value of the commercial and industrial properties in Marion County (Indianapolis), Indiana using Manatron’s GRM CAMA software and statistical regression and modeling methods to derive new property values. Once the revaluation is complete, all results and data will be provided back to the county to maintain on their in- house system for future use.

Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels ordered a freeze on all residential property taxes in Marion County and also called for the reassessment of all business properties to be completed by February 1, 2008. Manatron was selected after Marion County solicited bids from professional appraisers and software companies who are currently certified by the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) to perform such work.

Manatron has partnered with the Schneider Corporation, an Indianapolis- based, Women Business Enterprise, to provide GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Assessment Analysis services. Manatron will utilize Schneider’s expertise in GIS to assist with this project.

Marion County is located in central Indiana and is the largest county in Indiana with an estimated population of approximately 865,000 people and over 360,000 parcels of property. The county seat is Indianapolis.
