MiRealSource MLS Offers Appointment Call Center Concierge Service to Agents and Brokers

TROY, Mich., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ — MiRealSource — Michigan’s most innovative and oldest MLS — is launching a new real estate appointment center call service to help real estate agents and brokers make multiple appointments to show homes with just one phone call, saving time and money, it was announced today.

“MiRealSource is extending a helping hand to its brokers and agents by offering a unique high-tech, human-touch opportunity to increase their efficiency and lower overhead costs by having our appointment center handle the scheduling of appointments to show homes for buyers and sellers,” said MiRealSource CEO Virginia M. Bratt.

“We think this is an important and effective service offering at a time when the real estate market is forcing agents and brokers to do more to sell homes,” said Bratt. “The best part is given our resources we can offer this service for only $5 per agent per month.”

The service will become fully operational in October 2007 . It has been offered to MiRealSource members through mailings and other promotional devices and more than 6,000 brokers and agents will be able to take advantage of the service.

MiRealSource’s appointment call center service will be provided through the use of an extended Listingbook product designed as an Appointment Service and will serve as a call center for participating brokers. The company has hired and trained an additional 20 staff members to handle calls and schedule appointments for its members.

The call center will be staffed 12 hours a day weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and for 9 and 8-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday respectively on weekends.

The appointment center offered by MiRealSource follows by just nine-months the successful rollout of Listingbook technology to better help brokers and agents.
