Washington, D.C. – January 27, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Ehrhardt Clinical Research, LLC (ECR) will be taking donations of bottled water and money for the Flint Michigan Water Crisis. ECR would like the help of Kansas City and its surrounding area to help us send as much water and help as we can to overcome this tragic situation in Flint. As a health care business we feel it is our duty to care for those in need and we see this as a great opportunity to help along with our fellow citizens.
The collection location will be at the clinic office in Belton, Missouri at 108 Congress Street. Monetary donations and donations of bottled water can be dropped of Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 2 PM beginning on Monday February 8th. There will also be two separate weekend donation times: Saturday February 20th and Sunday February 28th, both from 9 AM to 1 PM. The water drive is set to end on Tuesday March 1st.
When ECR was founded in 2012 it was with the belief that volunteers can truly make a difference. The heroes that volunteer for clinical research trials make it possible for community, our loved ones to have access to better advanced and safer medications and treatments for medical conditions and disease. We understand that without clinical research volunteers we wouldn’t be able to make a difference. And it’s because of the spirit of caring volunteers that we feel obliged to help those in need in Flint, Michigan.
With the help of our volunteers, community, and local businesses we have set a goal to collect 100 cases of bottles water and $1000.00 to send to the relief aid. If the community meets the goal, ECR pledges to match it. “It is the least we can do to show our gratitude for the opportunities we have been given,” stated owner/founder Jody M. Ehrhardt. “Although we are always looking for ways to give back in our own community we feel compelled to reach out to the people of Flint, Michigan in the face of such tragedy.”
