FHA Regulations, Condominium Management, MBA and Law

Troy, MI – October 5, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — In the interest of encouraging law students and MBA students, the Board of the United Condominium Owners of Michigan (UCOM) has set aside four registrations for students of law and management schools in the Detroit area.

To qualify the student must be a currently matriculating college student in the south eastern metropolitan area with proof of current registration. The registration value is $175.00.

To register, contact the UCOM office at 248.352.8490. UCOM offices are located in Southfield but the contact address is P.O. Box 838, Troy, MI 48099-0838.

Due to increased interest in condo ownership and related management issues, the United Condominium Owners of Michigan holds an annual conference on Condo management. Once again, the site is the Michigan State Management Education Center.

Special Topics: This year’s topics include the new FHA Requirements for condo associations as related to mortgage qualifications, issues related to rental units, by-law enforcement issues, budget and reserve issues, liability issues for condo directors and techniques for running Board meetings.
