Rep. Miller Applauds $100,000 Grant to Renovate Cavis Building in Downtown Port Huron

WASHINGTON, D.C. – April 10, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Representative Candice Miller (MI-10) issued the following statement on the Michigan Strategic Fund’s $100,000 grant to Landmark Port Huron, LLC for the renovation of the Cavis building located at Huron and Michigan Avenues:

“Downtown Port Huron continues to re-create itself with great new restaurants, shops and businesses. However, a critical component to maintaining a bustling downtown is getting residents to live there. This project will not only create new jobs, but also contribute to the growing trend of urban loft living and overall economic success of downtown Port Huron.”
