SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Skanska USA Building Inc. announced today it has more than $245 million in K-12 construction projects coming to completion during the next few months. The K-12 segment accounts for approximately 30 percent of the company's Michigan business.

To further assist school districts, Skanska recently promoted Kristin Pfauth to Manager of Bond Services. She will be assisting districts statewide with the planning and implementation of bond and millage campaigns as they seek to upgrade their facilities. During the May, 2007 school elections, three of the five school districts Skanska assisted passed their bond issues, totaling $90 million in new construction. Skanska is currently assisting two school districts with bonds during the November, 2007 ballot.
