Governor Rauner Outlines Plan for Transformation at Annual Affordable Housing Conference
Governor Bruce Rauner spoke today at the Illinois Governor’s Conference on Affordable Housing where he discussed the need to build a new Illinois and issued a call to action for smarter financial strategies that invest in the future of the state. Addressing an audience of more than 600 housing industry leaders and elected officials, the Governor touched on the major goals of his agenda to transform Illinois, calling for accountability and collaboration between the state and its private sector partners.
Conyers Encourages Southwest Michigan Affordable Housing Advocates To Apply For HUD Grants

Appearing in today’s Federal Register are the Notices of Funding Availability, the federal application, for two revitalization initiatives: The Choice Neighborhoods Planning or Implementation Grants for FY 2010 and the HOPE VI FY 2010. Two MSHDA Leaders Recognized for Work in Affordable Housing and Community Development Industry
LANSING, MI - May 18, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) recently announced that Executive Director Keith Molin and Public Policy and Market Research Director Gary Heidel both were awarded high honors within the affordable housing and community development industry. Molin and Heidel were cited with their awards at the 2010 Michigan Conference on Affordable Housing. This year the conference theme was Rebuilding Michigan Together and the awards received commemorate that theme.
