Televising and Inspection

TRAVERSE CITY – (RealEstateRama) — The City of Traverse City Department of Public Services will be overseeing storm water sewer televising and inspection work at various locations throughout the City. Locations that will require more extensive traffic control and partial lane closures include: East Front Street, Grandview Parkway, Division Street, Fourteenth Street, Veterans Drive, Cass Street, Union Street, Lake Street, Railroad Avenue, Woodmere Avenue, Hannah Avenue, Garfield Avenue, East Eighth Street, Peninsula Drive and the Downtown area. The work is expected to begin on March 6, 2017, and is projected to be completed by April 24, 2017. The work will be done by contractors and city crews working together to minimize the disruption to traffic flow.

Please use caution and patience in these areas to reduce congestion, delay and promote worker safety. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place in and around the work area.

This project will produce noise and traffic inconveniences, and we would like to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation. Please feel free to call Larry LaCross, GIS Coordinator, (231) 922-4900 if you have any questions, comments or concerns about the work or the schedule.
