State of Michigan to auction Tax-foreclosed properties

More than 600 properties, in five Lower Michigan counties, three Northern Michigan and four Upper Peninsula counties, will be auctioned off during State of Michigan Tax-Foreclosed, Real Property Auctions on August 12th and 13th. Registration for interested bidders will begin at 9:00 a.m., each day, with auctions scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.

Progress Continues Overnight for Restoring Power from Weekend Storms

MDOT suspends construction for July Fourth holiday, urges safety

AAA Michigan estimates 1.3 million travelers will be using Michigan roads and bridges during the annual celebration of the nation's independence.

I-69 bridge demolition work starting in Genesee County

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be rebuilding the M-54 (Dort Highway) bridge and widening the Center and Averill bridges, beginning with demolition of the north section of the Dort Highway bridge tonight. All I-69 traffic has been shifted to the eastbound lanes of the highway as of Thursday night, April 16. All this work is expected to take one week to complete
