Torrance, CA – September 24, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Lee & Associates, one of the nation’s largest commercial brokerage firms, has announced the members of its 2012, 2013-2014 advisory board. Comprised of seven individuals elected from the pool of presidents and managing partners, the advisory board is responsible for setting policy and shaping Lee’s strategic direction.
Jon Savoy, SIOR, CCIM, president of Lee & Associates’ Michigan office, has been elected to serve a two-year term on the board. Savoy, a Michigan real estate veteran, is a current board member of the Economic Development Corporate of the County of Oakland (OCEDC).
“This is a great honor to be nominated to the board,” said Savoy, who noted that it couldn’t have come at a better time. “The economic activity has been getting stronger in the Detroit area. Unlike last year, which was truly down, there has been a very good upswing in real estate activity and our office is extremely busy.”
In addition, Lee & Associates Michigan was recently selected for the 2012 Best of Novi Award in the Commercial Real Estate Services category. The accolade is awarded to companies that have achieved exceptional marketing success and enhanced the positive image of their small business through excellent service to their customers and community.
Lee & Associates continues its aggressive eastward expansion with new offices opening during the last 12 months in New York, Orlando, Charleston and Greenville. Lee & Associates anticipates additional openings prior to year-end.
