MPSC approves settlement agreement authorizing Wisconsin Electric Power Company to implement its amended renewable energy plan

LANSING, Mich. – February 12, 2016 – (RealEstateRama) — The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement authorizing Wisconsin Electric Power Company to implement its amended renewable energy plan.

Under the terms of the settlement, residential customers will see an increase of approximately 97 cents on their monthly bills, effective with the next billing cycle.

The utility and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement. The Tilden Mining Company, L.C. and Empire Iron Mining Partnership filed a statement of non-objection.
