Statement by Congressman Dan Kildee on the President’s Announcement on New Federal Funding for Water Infrastructure Improvements

Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05) issued the following statement following President Barack Obama’s announcement of $80 million for Michigan’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund:

Washington, D.C. – January 22, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — “Today the President announced $80 million in additional funding for the state of Michigan to make critical water infrastructure improvements. It’s time for the Governor to act and prioritize Flint. Our community should get a significant share of these new federal resources to begin to repairing the damage done by this terrible man-made crisis.”
