LARA Summarily Suspends Cass County Child Care Group Home License

The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Community and Health Systems (BCHS), issued an order of summary suspension and notice of intent to revoke the license of a Cass County group child care home provider, Julie Pellow, #DG140067633, 28805 Fairlane, Dowagiac, Michigan 49047. This action resulted from a recent complaint investigation of the group child care home

The Michigan Natural Shoreline Partnership recently launched a program to help lakefront homeowners understand best practices to protect their shoreland and inland lakes. The Michigan Shoreland Stewards Program will recognize inland lake property owners who are using healthy property management practices to protect their inland lake and offer tips to improve the shoreline further.
