Levin, Stabenow Announce Second Infusion of $15 Million for Detroit Metro Airport
WASHINGTON, DC - May 21, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Senators Carl Levin (D-MI) and Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) announced today the U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded $15 million to the Wayne County Airport Authority through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The funding will be used to rehabilitate a runway at Detroit Metropolitan International Airport. This funding is in addition to the $15 million announced on May 13 for the rehabilitation of runway 9R/27L
