Water Resource Site Information for Flint

Washington, D.C. – January 11, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Five water resource sites are now available in Flint where residents can pick up bottled water, water filters, replacement cartridges and home water testing kits.

The water resource sites are now open and will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Flint fire stations located at:

Fire Station #1, 310 East 5th St., Flint, MI 48502
Fire Station #3, 1525 Martin Luther King Ave., Flint, MI 48503
Fire Station #5, 3402 Western Rd. Flint, MI 48506
Fire Station #6, 716 West Pierson Rd., Flint, MI 48505
Fire Station #8, 202 East Atherton Rd., Flint, MI 48507
Water filters and replacement cartridges continue to be available Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the following locations:

Michigan Department of Health and Human Services office, 125 E. Union St., Flint, MI 48502
Michigan Department of Health and Human Services office, 4809 Clio Road, Flint, MI 48504
Genesee County Community Action Resource Department office, 2727 Lippincott, Flint, MI 48507
Genesee County Community Action Resource Department office, 601 N. Saginaw, Flint, MI 48502
Flint City Hall, 1101 S. Saginaw St., Flint, MI 48502
Residents who need transportation or any other assistance can call 211.

Residents are urged to use filtered water for drinking, food preparation, brushing teeth and watering pets. Unfiltered water may be used for bathing and cleaning.
