Increase in Sales Continues Through Third Quarter

WASHINGTON, D.C. - October 30, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- The third quarter ended with housing sales continuing to reflect an increase in average selling price, reaching over $130,000 for the third month in a row. According to the MLS reports compiled by the Michigan Association of REALTORS®. Over 85% of local units reported an increase in average selling price from September 2013 compared to September 2012. Seventeen (17) locals reported an increase near/over 20+%, with Antrim Charlevoix Kalkaska, Branch County, Detroit, Greater Shiawassee, Montcalm County and Sanilac County all coming in at an impressive 30+% increase in average selling price.
